Restoration of the DAP Beaufort Bomber A9-141: A Flying Memorial

The flagship project of the Australian Aviation Heritage Centre (Qld) Inc. is the restoration of the Australian-built DAP Beaufort Bomber A9-141 to airworthy condition. This project aims to create a flying memorial honouring the aircrew and ground crew of the RAAF during World War II. It highlights Australian engineering excellence and preserves a significant piece of military aviation history, allowing Australians to connect with their heritage through airshows and public displays.
