Lolly Jar Circus Inc is South Australia’s only fully inclusive social circus dedicated to creating positive change in the lives of young people. It specialises in welcoming children and young people of all abilities, including those with disabilities or who are socially at risk. The organisation provides a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where participants can develop new skills, build confidence, and foster a sense of belonging through the art of circus.

The mission of Lolly Jar Circus Inc is to use circus arts as a social tool to promote justice, inclusion, personal strength, and community. Its vision is to be a leading inclusive arts organisation that embraces diversity and empowers young people to thrive physically, emotionally, and socially in their communities.

Main Objectives

• Provide accessible and inclusive circus classes for children and young people of all abilities.
• Enhance participants’ physical fitness, motor skills, and social skills through circus training.

• Weekly inclusive circus classes during State school terms, teaching skills such as tumbling, trapeze, juggling, and stilt-walking.

• Specialised training by qualified instructors educated in disability awareness and inclusion.
• Community engagement initiatives, including an Aboriginal Engagement Strategy to foster cultural inclusion.
• Provision of all necessary equipment and a safe, child-friendly environment adhering to child safety principles.
