Our Plan C Incorporated is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to building community resilience and regeneration across Australian communities, particularly in the Northern Rivers region. It focuses on empowering individuals and groups to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters and crises through education, training, support, and collaboration.

The mission of Our Plan C Incorporated is to enhance the resilience and regenerative capacities of communities facing future disasters and crises. Its vision is of Australian communities that are resilient, regenerative, and interconnected, where people support each other and recognise the leadership role of communities alongside governments and emergency agencies. The organisation aims to foster a collective safety net grounded in connection, cooperation, and sustainable practices.

Main Objectives

• Educate, train, inform, support, and mentor individuals and communities to build their knowledge and skills in community resilience and regeneration.
• Build and facilitate networks such as the Community Carers and Responders (CCR) network to enhance crisis prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery at the community level.
• Partner with local, regional, and national organisations to strengthen collaborative efforts and share resources.
• Respond actively to disasters by mobilising and supporting community networks.
• Conduct research and influence decision-makers to recognise and support the unique role of communities in resilience-building.

• Residents of the Northern Rivers and broader Australian communities vulnerable to disasters.
