Revise Scheme

Revise Scheme is a volunteer organisation dedicated to supporting the education of children living in isolated and remote areas, primarily in South Australia but also extending to parts of Western New South Wales and South Western Queensland. It provides qualified education workers who travel to remote locations to assist with the supervision of students’ lessons, often relieving the regular supervisors such as parents or governesses. These placements typically last from three to six weeks and are designed to enhance the learning experience of isolated students while offering respite to their usual supervisors.

Mission and Vision

The mission of the Revise Scheme is to support isolated students by providing experienced volunteer teachers who help maintain the continuity and quality of education in remote settings. Its vision is to ensure that children in geographically isolated communities have equitable access to educational support, fostering their academic growth and wellbeing despite their remote circumstances.
