ASFI: Transforming Australia's Financial System for a Sustainable Net Zero Future
This comprehensive institutional video introduces the Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative (ASFI), established in July 2021 through collaboration among 140 representatives from finance, civil society, and academia.
Following the Paris Agreement momentum, ASFI leads Australia’s transition to sustainable finance through developing taxonomies, integrating natural capital considerations, and facilitating cross-sector partnerships. The video outlines ASFI’s role in policy development, capability building, and capital mobilisation toward sustainable activities.
Supported by major financial organisations, ASFI acts as a bridge connecting government, industry, and international partners to create a resilient, inclusive financial system.
