Operating without government funding, the Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra has sustained itself through membership fees, concert performances, and occasional grants from local councils. The ensemble remains committed to developing and maintaining excellence in mandolin orchestral music whilst fostering a welcoming environment for enthusiastic musicians.
