Mimos Network

Mimos Network is a fellowship of intentionally small churches that primarily meet in homes, creating family-sized communities of Jesus followers. It draws its name from the Greek word “mimos,” meaning to imitate or mimic, inspired by the biblical call to “Imitate Christ and live a life of love.” The network currently operates in the Eastern and Western suburbs of Melbourne and North West Tasmania, focusing on fostering genuine relationships and authentic fellowship among its members.

Mission and Vision

The mission of Mimos Network is to cultivate spiritual families that encourage and hold each other accountable to live fully committed lives aligned with the kingdom of God. It envisions a church experience that is relational, participatory, and deeply connected, moving away from traditional models of church as a building or event to a dynamic community centred on discipleship and mutual support.

Main Objectives

• Disciple-making: Helping people become followers of Christ through relational evangelism and spiritual growth.
• Reproducibility: Maintaining small, simple gatherings that are easy to multiply and replicate.
