Nasha Makedonija Inc. is a community organisation in Springvale, Victoria, dedicated to celebrating, honouring, promoting and protecting all things Macedonian. It supports the Macedonian community in Australia by defending their cultural identity and human rights amid challenges facing the Republic of Macedonia. Established initially in 2018, it re-emerged in 2024 with renewed commitment.

Macedonian Cultural and Advocacy Events

Nasha Makedonija Inc. organises major social events four times a year, one for each season, to highlight significant historical figures and their relevance to Macedonian heritage. These gatherings feature live traditional and contemporary entertainment, along with additional functions and workshops based on community interests. The events foster unity, educate on history and politics, and raise funds to defend Macedonian culture and identity.

Mission and Vision

The mission is to protect the right to self-determination for Macedonians, ensuring they live freely and authentically. It champions the values ancestors fought for, defending Macedonian existence, identity, and human rights globally. The vision unites the Australian Macedonian community to support the Republic of Macedonia and secure a flourishing future.

Benefiting Groups

Nasha Makedonija Inc. primarily supports the Macedonian community in Victoria, including tens of thousands of descendants from early migrants since 1924. It empowers Macedonians in Australia across business, academia, sport, medicine, education, law, and entertainment, fostering unity among village-based clubs, sporting groups, churches, dance ensembles, and political organisations.

• Advocacy against threats to Macedonian independence, identity, flag, and constitution.
• Challenges to foreign interference by NATO, EU, and others through media and publications.
