Established in South Australia in 2019, it was formed by experienced volunteers from various emergency services to continue vital communication support in regional and remote areas where traditional communication methods may fail. The organisation operates across multiple states including South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, and Western Australia.

The mission of Radio Rescue Emergency Communications Incorporated is to provide benevolent relief to the community by monitoring government-designated emergency Citizen Band (CB) radio channels and offering communications support during major incidents when conventional networks such as mobile phones and landlines are unavailable.
