Hostile Environment Awareness Training Empowers Pacific Humanitarian Workers

Hostile Environment Awareness Training is a unique course providing individuals with essential personal safety and security knowledge. Through the Australian Assist program, this training is now available to colleagues across the Pacific region.

Participants develop critical skills including teamwork, networking, navigation, communications, situational awareness, and personal safety. Experienced trainers from various countries share real-world expertise from hostile environments, equipping humanitarian actors to respond not only to natural disasters but any future crisis.

This four-day intensive programme pushes participants to their limits whilst providing Pacific Islanders with life-saving capabilities.
