Sailability Tin Can Bay Inc is a community-based, volunteer-run organisation dedicated to providing people with disabilities the opportunity to experience the freedom and joy of sailing. Based at the Tin Can Bay Yacht Club, the charity offers a safe and supportive environment where individuals of all ages and abilities can participate in on-water activities, build confidence, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of being out on the water.

Freedom on the Water – Sailability’s Flagship Program

Sailability Tin Can Bay’s main project is its weekly sailing program, which gives people with disabilities the chance to enjoy a peaceful or challenging outing on the water. The program is designed to be inclusive, with activities tailored to suit all levels of ability. Participants learn to sail, develop new skills, and experience the therapeutic benefits of being on the water in a safe and welcoming environment. The program is open to individuals, schools, and community groups, and is supported by a dedicated team of volunteers.
