Essential Volunteering Opportunity at Sporting Event
At The Challenge Games Inc., volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the event’s success. In 2025, they partnered with Athletics North Queensland to provide insurance coverage for volunteers, emphasising the importance of completing the registration process. Volunteers are invited to attend the games on July 23rd and 24th at Townsville Sports Reserve, arriving by 8:30 am.
Upon arrival, volunteers visit the designated tent for identification and role assignments. It’s vital to wear a hat, comfortable shoes, and bring sunscreen and water. Although preferences for sporting stations are considered, flexibility in assignments ensures smooth operations.
Throughout the event, refreshments are provided, alongside a functioning canteen offering light snacks. The Challenge Games appreciates the invaluable support of volunteers, acknowledging their contribution as essential to the event’s success.
