This not-for-profit community organisation is based in the heritage-listed Old Tasmanian Hotel in Fingal and serves as a vital hub for individuals and families across the Fingal Valley region. The organisation provides a welcoming space where community members can access support services, develop new skills, volunteer, and strengthen connections with their neighbours.
Mission and Community Role
Fingal Valley Neighbourhood House operates with three core goals: building community, enhancing participation choices, and supporting local governance and management. The organisation recognises the traditional owners of lutruwita (Tasmania) and acknowledges the impacts of invasion and colonisation on Aboriginal peoples. The organisation is staffed by skilled and supportive professionals passionate about their work, supported by dedicated volunteers who contribute their time to programs and services.
