The Bouddi Society Incorporated

The Bouddi Society Incorporated is a community-based organisation located on the NSW Central Coast that focuses on celebrating and nurturing the artistic, historical, and cultural life of the local area. Established originally as a progress association, it evolved to concentrate on creative and cultural activities, becoming The Bouddi Society in 2001. It operates as a non-profit incorporated association and administers the Bouddi Foundation for the Arts, a public fund dedicated to supporting young artists.

Mission and Vision

The mission of The Bouddi Society is to promote and foster the arts and culture within the Central Coast community by organising public events, exhibitions, and publications. Its vision is to create a vibrant cultural environment where young and emerging artists are encouraged and supported to develop their talents and contribute to the region’s cultural richness.

Main Objectives

• To organise and present public events that showcase local artistic and cultural achievements.
• To publish materials that document and celebrate the historical and cultural heritage of the Bouddi Peninsula and surrounding areas.
• To administer the Bouddi Foundation for the Arts, providing grants and scholarships to young artists aged 15-30 on the Central Coast.
• To raise funds that support the Foundation’s activities and cover administrative costs, ensuring most donations directly benefit artists.
